Summary

I have made a career of always trying to better myself. I have been doing automotive personally for 25+ years (non certified). I have been a firefighter since August of 2004. I became a full time firefighter in April of 2013. I am currently a captain with the Kendallville Fire Dept. During these past almost 9 years I have learned allot about myself and how to be a team player and a leader. Along my path to being a fireman I also was working in the automotive field as a tire technician and alignment technician. I worked with customers in diagnosing and repairing issues in vehicle suspensions, front end components, and brakes. Unfortunately after 9 years with the department I have decided that what we see in our calls and responses have taken there toll on me mentally and I am searching for an opportunity to return to the normal civilian life. Currently searching for a career in automotive service writing, body shop, or as a mechanic. In January of 2021 my wife and I started our own business doing lighting on emergency vehicles. This is a part time adventure we do from our home. I take pride in my work and enjoy communicating with customers. I have other work experience over the years from automotive to retail and management. I look forward to speaking with interested employers.
