Recommendationletters

  • 07/04/2021, Dr. Chi Nguyen, Department of Emergency Medicine, Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, I am writing this letter to strongly recommend Ms. Joee Truong. I have known Joee for approximately 3 years through her employment as an Emergency Department RN at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital. I find her to be an excellent and competent nurse. She is able to rapidly identify and intervene in many complex medical cases presented in the ED. She has an innate ability to prioritize her work so that she is able to provide nursing care in a timely and effective manner. I am also very impressed with her ability to identify many of her patient’s social and psychological issues that can prevent her patient from receiving effective care in the ED or in the outpatient setting. I feel that what motivates her is her desire for the patient to truly be well and healthy. When Joee was in school for her Nursing Practitioner degree, I acted as her preceptor for the Emergency Room clerkship. Again I was very impressed with her intensity and desire to learn. She was instructed in many important skills such as early intervention in critically ill patients, resuscitation in cardiac arrest, intubation in cases of respiratory failure, suturing, and reduction of joint dislocation. She was able to reach a level of competency in a very short time period. With her intensity and dedication I believe that she will be a very competent and excellent Nurse Practitioner. She would make a great member of any healthcare team. Please contact me if you have any further questions.
  • 05/19/2021, Dr. Tamika Dowling, Assistant Professor/Lead Faculty, United States University, 407-346-8682, Tamika.dowling@usuniversity.edu, I highly recommend my former student Joee Truong. I receive many requests for recommendations; however, I only recommend those who I feel that are well suited for the opportunity that they are seeking. I highly recommend Ms. Truong for a FNP position within your institution. I have had the opportunity to observe and obtain feedback from clinical preceptors regarding Ms. Truong’s professional skills as well as interpersonal style. She is consistently pleasant, and takes on all assignments with enthusiasm and dedication. Ms. Truong possesses a wealth of knowledge with her extensive background as a registered nurse. She is always eager to learn, and accepts constructive criticism well. She will prove to be your best candidate.
