I went to trc two years ago and alot of things opened up for me but what I gathered from it was that there are a lot of people hurting worse than I am . I went back to work for this cat for cash and been door dashing and such to make extra money to open my first sober living house when I got hurt a scaffold broke in half sending me 15 ft down to concrete shattered my heal tore my Achilles and separated my shoulder that has been six months ago it appears that I may never physically build a house again that brings us to where we are now something told me to see if you were hiring because I believe I can help your program in many ways as well as I believe I can meet some people through your network that can help me in the long run accomplishing my goals of building a sober living empire across all the contental us I was very impressed with the way you run your program and would like to come to work for you so I can learn everything I can to help people that need it I have worked hard to stay sober to reach my goals of helping people that believe there is no hope I could start at the 1st of the year I will have two years sober by then and should be able to walk on my own weight I would be willing to do anything that can help even kitchen duty at which I would prefer to be PTO seeing how I live over an hour away I have a car that is very fun to drive so if I was assigned to a 12 hr shift it would be no problem however driving 2-3 hours for six hours work would not be the greatest however as I said if given an opportunity at any position would be appreciated and I would not let you done I really feel like if I want a career in sober living communities that this step of going to work for you a couple years maybe more would be greatly beneficial to my resume, as I want to commit the rest of my working life to the service of others that maybe less fortunate giving them the steps I used to remain sober and flourish even when things seem stacked against
I have lost many friends to drug addiction and alcoholism from those that have ruined their life as it may seem through being physically locked up or just locked away in their own minds I have lost a brother to suicide and my best friend to drug abuse that has cost him his sanity just to mention a few it breaks my heart and i believe if I can help just a frew people turn their life around to have progress in their life and for those around them that I have done my part re paying the universe back for the opportunity and mercy it has shown me I do consider myself lucky and blessed to have made it through those dark times not to mention the humility and experience making it through those times to help others realize it's not that bad I really think this is a step that I am supposed to take and grow into the person God or the creator however you look at it wants me to be for if anything would have been different I would not be here writing this resume
