One more thing I forgot to add in the Job description and what I do as an Intern is sometimes they'll be days where there's nothing for me to really do or any physical task or given task from anyone so I would do the Job trainings like Compliance alpha or pluralsight.
I sometimes work on pluralsight which is a education site that whatever you search up you can learn all about a different program from the in's and out's of every function from easy to hard.
Another thing I also have done is everytime i get in and get out of work ill have to record my times that's how i get paid ill still get paid off days too. I record my in's and out times on UKG.
I also receive my emails and send them through outlook.
If there is anything else to summarize and add. I am writing a resume and looking to apply for a job as a lowe's warehouse stocker or any positions for lowe's individual or teamed. Just as a reminder. I like stacking, lifting things, delivering, scanning and shipping purchases and goods.
I'm currently an Intern. My Job title is Assistant Asset Manager. What I've done so far on this Job is help assist my supervisor with Excel worksheets spreads.
There are two types of computers or laptops. Sometimes there would be other devices and each will either have a serial number or a service tag and I'll go through the list in my excel to determine if a computer is inventory or decom.
Decom means that a computer's warranty has expired while inventory is a computer that hasn't expired.
Each day if there is a laptop the order in the excel book i'll go in with is the date I started the laptop device type make which is either dell or lenovo then i'll go on one of the websites enter in the serial or service get the type of model and see if it's decom or inventory by determining if it expired or not.
After I finish typing, I'll send a copy to my supervisor.
I used to do the decom and inventory on computers but now I don't do that as much. The last time I did one was In march 2023. The next thing I've helped out and learn to do is desk setups.
Basically the way I did desk setups were two or one computer organizing the cables which were headsets cisco phone ethernet cable power cable, HDMI and display port docking station keyboard and mouse and a watt brick plug in cable.
The area work station I worked in is MIS. Next thing I did was I would bring the cart down and empty it in the recycling bin, help empty out the recycling bin when e-waste would come.
I would restock computers, headsets and cisco phones when my supervisor would make orders. I would organize and match computer monitors with each other. Stack, dell, lenovo and other laptops like apple or mac in their own piles.
Last thing and two things I say I now do the most out of is packaging and shipping and resetting laptops. I package through fedex what my supervisor will tell me we are shipping sometimes that being 1 to multiple packages.
He'll give me a list of needs a company or a person wants and I'll fill it in the fedex to create a shipment document.
When I'm done I'll send him a copy and he'll print the paper out. I would slap the Fedex sticky on the sealed box, put the paperwork in the fedex slip and take it down to the mailroom.
The resetting computers part is when I basically log in with my admin credentials and password resetting wipes and cleans everything pretty much but there are extra steps to it but the only step I would mostly do is cmd systemreset -factoryreset and let them reset.
There are other ways and methods to resetting a computer even when there are calls to a computer that does not reset that usually means it takes one of those other ways. In the end, It's all a reset.
My skills are I'm on top of my task, able to learn and progress Meaning I'll do the work and finished the job right and exactly how It's done
I also have respect skills, Honest skills, Hard work skills, I'm physically healthy, Love to help others and see others succeed
I write my own personal diary with my complex super brained thoughts and Ideas through google docs. That's where the writing comes from mainly. Other kinds of writing maybe school related writing or me always writing in my own doc diary. I call it a quote book. It's still Incomplete.
The reading part is if i'm interested or In the mood to care. I read mainly what I write I been writing or started my doc diary or doc book early this year. I forgot when exactly and when I say in the mood to care. I'll read something for the follow step by step instructions if needed. I'll read something for the saying of me saying I read it. because I don't want to skip it and say I didn't read it. that part is mainly towards my online ebooks in my courses.
Running I love to run I been or started my running routine or regime sense the beginning of 2016 but really from 2019 and now I start really running everyday. It started in the beginning as less running then gradually grown more and more as It went through the years. No I never ran a marathon I have ran past a half marathon like once before which that was me running for 3 hours straight in December of 2017 I assume I ran at least past half marathon mark at that time. I Did it again this year but this time while walking. I tried to self attempted to run marathon multiple times but just quit and gave up. I still haven't given it up. In fact now I plan on just walking one instead of the whole running thing.
Lifting weights. I now do this with or without my runs. Every run I do I make it a routine to get some weightlifting in or some form of strength exercise and I'll even count running as strength because running is good fuel for energy and mood. Running also makes you slightly stronger and makes the blood flow for other exercises as well. I don't lift everyday like I run or walk heck I even add in another cardio exercise I also do outside and it's cycling. So there I do three cardio exercises run, walk and cycle. But back to lifting weights. I lift for the saying of one get a toner body, get stronger and stay strong. Plus I don't like looking bad or feel like I fell off because I didn't get a lift in that also counts for running.
Walking I already talked about It. other than one fact I love to walk to ease the stress or think sometimes. I love to walk because If i'm going to get an exercise that not super intense like running or cycling Ill be walking but the thing is I also make my walks a little bit intense like 4+ mph of walking for hours. Average 1-2 hours I spend walking outside almost every day. Sometimes Ill set distances I walk further then I would run. I walk alone and with headphones too.
Listening to music fun fact is I am a music mover. I can't really stay still and listen to music I have to walk around and listen to music and picture things talk to my self my thoughts music kind of makes me act a little weird and gives off a good dopamine a sense of good feelings. I'll even for the heck of it go run or walk with the music to get a good feeling and some energy too. So I'll kill 2 birds with one stone. But maybe if you're asking If I get tired? I do. I complain a lot too. Because I been walking and running for a long time.
Lastly gaming. I love video games I don't feel like there's much to say about games. Other than the fact the kind of games I like is fighting games, platform games, word games, simple and fun games, building games and so on.
