- As a Sergeant with the N.Y.P.D. for over 17 years, before retiring after 20 years of service , my duties and responsibilities included overseeing Police Officers, managing patrol operations, ensuring policy compliance, and responding to and managing critical incidents. In my position as a Sergeant, I was the first line of leadership within the department.
- As a Supervisor I was responsible for the direct supervision, general appearance, punctuality, and discipline of subordinate Police Officers and Detectives. I was also responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and motivation for the Police Officers under my supervision on a daily basis.
