  • Perform routine electrical/mechanical repairs on diverse types of equipment in a flooring manufacturing facility including paper treatment, hydraulic presses and sawing applications and packaging robots and other auxiliary equipment
  • Coordinate with production on when to stop equipment to do repairs as to minimize downtime
  • Coordinated with preventive maintenance group to troubleshoot problems and implement effective repair solutions.
  • Report downtime instances in SAP and previously into spreadsheets for morning meetings
  • Use the maintenance PC’s and PG to go online with various generations of PLC’s (Tia /Step7 siemens software) and Drives (SEW, Lenze, and Rexroth) to troubleshoot and reset faults, also occasionally will need to make timer adjustments or upgrade existing drives from obsolete models
  • Also for majority of the year of 2025 I was interim Maintenance Shift Lead.
  • While I was acting Shift Lead I supervised other maintenance personnel assigned to my shift and delegate trouble calls based on safety, job priority and the employees' strengths.
  • While I was acting Shift Lead i made sure my self and other maintenance personnel assigned to me followed all safety procedures including PPE, Lockout Tagout, etc.
