• Inspect all blasting and coating procedures being completed within the company specifications.
• Utility inspection duties such as ditching, backfill, lowering in, trench plugs, trench drains, road crossings, creek crossing etc being completed correctly and within the company specifications.
• Inspect all blasting and coating work being performed by the contractors coating crew and is being completed within the HG specs.
• Inspect above ground painting of valve sets, risers etc when construction is finished.
• Fill out and turn in coating reports to the chief inspector
• Utility inspection duties include making sure all utility work being done in my area such as ditching, lowering in, trench plugs, drain outlets, backfill etc is being done correctly, safely, and within HG specs.
• Keep track of pay items that the contractor uses and footages they complete for different tasks and turn in a daily progress report with footages, station numbers, and work performed every day.
• Manned a crew of 5 people
• Took all atmospheric, wet film thickness, and dry film thickness readings with approved equipment.
• Ordered and picked up materials that we would need for the job being performed.
• Made sure the blasting process was completed correctly
• Made sure the painting process was completed correctly.
• Made sure all work performed by my crew was completed within the specs of the gas company.
• Worked in compressor stations during and after construction of them

• Took and recorded atmospherics and dry film thicknesses with a positector 6000.
