  • Currently completing a senior nursing preceptorship in a 4:1 high-acuity Emergency Department, delivering direct patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Initiates IVs, collects lab specimens, administers medications, and performs EKGs within scope of practice while supporting emergency procedures such as wound closure, splinting, and code blue response. Participates in triage and obtains vital signs to assist with rapid assessments of trauma, cardiac, and stroke patients; observes advanced interventions including intubation and arterial line placement.

  • Supported labor and delivery care in a 1:4 maternity rotation by assisting with fetal heart rate monitoring, labor support, and observing vaginal and cesarean births. Conducted newborn assessments including APGAR scoring, fundal and lochia checks, and contributed to postpartum evaluations and recovery monitoring. Reinforced medication protocols such as oxytocin, RhoGAM, and pain management; provided perineal care, breastfeeding support, and patient education on newborn care, postpartum recovery, and early signs of postpartum depression.

  • Completed pediatric clinical rotation with exposure to Cardiac ICU (1:1), Med-Surg (1:5), and Pediatric ER (4:1) settings, assisting with vital sign collection and pain assessments using FLACC and Wong-Baker scales. Supported IV therapy, oxygen administration, nebulizer treatments, and maintenance of central and PICC lines; performed enteral feedings via NG and G-tubes and provided breastfeeding and bottle-feeding support.
