Summary
We came here from Mildenhall AFB, England in 1994 while still in the Air Force. I taught at the Air Command and Staff College before retiring. I have always been involved in the local community and was appointed by the Mayor of Millbrook to be a member of the Sports and Recreation Board. I was selected by two Governors to be the public member of the Board of Examiners for Marriage and Family Therapy - a newly created regulatory board from 2001 - 2005. The Board members selected me to be Vice Chairman of the Board. As an Air Force JROTC Instructor my Unit at Wilcox was annually in the top 10% of all Air Force JROTC Units and the Number 1 Unit in Alabama on one occasion. I was selected as Wilcox Central HS and District Teacher of the Year in 2019. I received the WAKA Golden Apple Award and come in Second for the Teacher of the Year. I thoroughly enjoy working in the community and making a better future for the children. I would appreciate the opportunity to become a member of the Elmore County Board of Education.

Member of Millbrook Men's Club
The Men's Club provides support to community individuals in the way of money and physical activity. Annually the Club gives scholarships to students from the Millbrook community. The Club has two major projects a year to raise funds to help financial needs in the community. The 4th of July and the Labor Day Bar B Ques provide community involvement, and a rallying point for young people to get donations for their various organizations and projects.
