- Planned and designed research experiment into urban estuary health and renewal under the direction of Dr. Eric Schott.
- Designed and assembled project equipment, including 54 racks made of PVC pipe, cement, wood, natural rope, synthetic rope, and bamboo. The racks were distributed among three stations and submerged in Baltimore's Inner Harbor for five months.
- Recorded data for processing and compilation, taking measurements at each station once per month.
- Learned how to properly organize and display data.
- Wrote a full research paper to be submitted in mid-November 2022, to Regeneron STS, a STEM competition.
- Assisted various graduate students with their research in Dr. Schott's lab, and attended lab meetings about ongoing research, including my own.
