  • As an account manager, I maintained relationships with my customers and solicited them for loads. I would then build the loads in our system and make sure all information about load details and price points was available for the logistics coordinators.
  • Getting loads was different depending on the customer; some of them required spot pricing based on the current market. Others, we had contracted pricing we would have to maintain through good and bad market conditions.
  • I specialized in full flatbed, as well as flatbed hot shot loads. I would also quote dry van and sprinter van loads from time to time. Some customers required over-dimensional quotes that we would provide as well.
  • My team featured our director, three account managers, a capacity manager, and three logistics coordinators. I would assist the capacity manager and logistics coordinators with any questions they had about our business.
