Additional Information

My parents were in separate near-death experiences that bought them an extended stay in the hospital setting. Between my mother's stroke and my father's electrocution, I spent an extended amount of time in hospitals. It was there that i began to see the compassion and prowess displayed by nurses in the facility. It was never the doctor that came in to heal and treat my mother and father. A nurse was always the one to answer the call. I grew to admire and appreciate the men and women that filled these vital roles. I began to realize that this was what i was meant to do. I wanted to be able to care for and heal others that were broken. That drive has taken me from a broke HVAC repairman to a full fledged registered psychiatric/travel nurse. That same drive will carry me all the way to being a Nurse Practitioner.
