Barton Construction was relocated from Bakersfield, California to Hope, Idaho due to California's harsh business environment. After building a home in Idaho, a move to Texas during the pandemic was made. Taking a break from the grind of full-time construction to spend time with family led to doing contract work for various small entities. Over the last three years, the focus has been consulting on numerous projects such as developing a twelve-acre property which included: three homesites, dirt work, power, water, and installation of two septic systems. Building two ponds, which required a rented D6 Dozer, remodeling a neighbor's house, and completing various other projects for friends and family are examples of other projects. Reentering the workforce will allow me to share all of my many years of skills and knowledge using heavy equipment with the next generation of Operators.
