Through my experience as a hockey coach and working in restaurants, I’ve learned the importance of leadership, patience, and communication. Coaching has taught me how to motivate others, handle pressure, and adapt quickly during fast-paced situations—all while staying positive and setting an example for younger players. In restaurants, I learned teamwork, multitasking, and how to stay calm when things get stressful, especially during busy hours. Both roles have helped me become more confident, responsible, and able to work with all kinds of people, skills that I know will continue to help me in other parts of my life.
