I bring over 40 years experience in the computer repair/maintenance/installation field. I have maintained a very high level 0f customer satisfaction and loyalty. I have very good communication skills with my customers and my peers. I am a self motivator and take on problems head on. I work very well with fellow technicians and customers to come to a quick resolution.
As Team Lead I was responsible for running weekly team meetings to discuss the weeks work schedules and any upcoming projects. I provided work direction to a team of 15-20 people and arrange assistance if needed on projects. I managed the team training profiles and scheduled any required training. I worked closely with my manager to ensure customer satisfaction. I also continued to take onsite service calls through out the territory.
As a Field Service Engineer my responsibilities were to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a high level of customer loyalty. I performed onsite repair/installation of a large range of IBM mainframe, servers and I/O equipment. During this time I was the onsite account service representative for a large data center. My experience ranges from IBM mainframes from the 360 models to the current Z series , IBM midrange servers running IOS and AIX applications, all IBM I/O devices which included tape, disk, telecom controllers and network equipment. I also serviced other OEM equipment. I renewed mu Cisco CCT certificate in February 2020.
