John Cabral

Responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment on a naval destroyer to include troubleshooting and maintaining 60HZ power distribution system, lighting circuits, small boat electrical systems, gas turbine generator maintenance and operating, electrical safety, operating switchboards, and troubleshooting motors and controllers. Other tasks include but are not limited to: regular engineering plant control/operation, maintain and operate equipment utilized for health and comfort for personnel living on a naval vessel, and damage control to include fires flooding and toxic gas casualties.

• Operate machinery to include bandsaws, drill press, lathe, MIG welders, grinders, forklifts, tractors, hydraulic press, 10 foot shear, press brake, and 10 foot roller. Machine, weld, and fabricate steel for farming use as well as construction equipment. Implemented regular housekeeping routines to maintain a clean and organized workspace conducive to effective production processes.
