Quality Lean Support Office Lean Implementer 2018 to 2025

• Implemented improvement projects in the Bristol Facility, in June 2021, they were losing $0.01 per unit sold by March 2024, that improved by $0.45 per unit sold giving them a gross margin of $2.9 million. We conducted trainings, implementing, and coaching the site leadership team on lean methodologies and finding the hidden waste in the facility.
• Implemented a 5S program across the division, with an auditing system to help drive the sustainment. The sites significantly improved their workplace organization, reducing waste in their processes. By engaging the employees on the floor.
• Introduced and Led the Value Improvement Process (VIP) at multiple facilities across multiple divisions. It is a 5-Day brainstorming event that provides tangible results to the bottom line of a facility. At our Franklin facility, the team identified 22 projects implemented across three years. Those projects resulted in a total cost savings of $2.93 million.
• Created and facilitated certification courses (Intro to Lean Manufacturing, Lean Leadership, Kata etc). By hosting the courses internally, we were able to take the course to the facility and conduct multiple iterations, Engaging as many team members as possible. A similar course would cost over $16.500 per course from an external vendor.
• Facilitated many Kaizen events. the most recent one was a changeover event (SMED) for a nozzle change at our Salisbury facility. The event reduced the time to change a nozzle by 62% by eliminating 13 minutes of waste per occurrence and standardizing the process.
