I have been a on the State Advisory Board since 2016 as a active member making changes to Children's Pre Hospital Care in Illinois for hospitals and Emergency Medical Systems. In April of 2024 I was voted to Vice-Chairpersons position on the State Advisory Board. Helping the Chairperson oversee meetings and other business.
IEMTA was a group of Emergency Services Professionals of all walks of life. We would help inform state legislators on issues at the state level for EMS. The group also held a 3-day Conference usually in March at a hotel in Springfield, Il and bring EMS professionals to speak to the attendees in roll-out format for everyone. The organization then became IEMSA doing the same as before.
As the Illinois Sales Manager for Braun Ambulance Corporation for North Central Emergency Vehicles I was responsible for presenting our ambulances to potential customers. I also serviced current Fire Departments & Private entities that used Braun Ambulance making sure lasting relationships and coordinating repairs for the vehicles. I would attend Conferences to showcase Braun Ambulances.
Respond to 9-1-1 requests for medical assistance of all types. I was a paramedic from 2003 till March 2007 then I was promoted to Paramedic-In-Charge. Paramedic-In-Charge is equivalent to Lieutenant in fire service.
