In my experience working on the f-404 engine I have gained the knowledge on precision maintenance. I have learned how to measure down to .0001 in, using D-micrometers as well as C-micrometers. My main experience is working around bearings as well as seals/gaskets.
I have experience with doing non-destructive inspections where you use inferred lights and magnets to check equipment for hairline microscopic cracks.
