As a NYS Peace Officer, ensure the safety of patients, employees, and the general public on the grounds of Pilgrim Psychiatric Center via enforcement of all NYS Laws where applicable, including via responding to emergency calls for assistance and performing vehicle and traffic stops. Perform general daily security monitoring of the grounds of Pilgrim Psychiatric Center via regular patrolling and security monitoring.

As Sergeant, supervise patrol officers, assist with patrols, provide direction for officers in unfamiliar situations and review Fire Safety Inspections and Fire Drills conducted by officers to ensure compliance with NFPA Fire and Life Safety Code.

Employed as the lead EMT/EMS Supervisor at one of the largest beach parks in New York State. Provide year-round medical services and immediate care to patients that are injured or that become ill while at Robert Moses and Captree State Park. Respond to motor vehicle accidents, conduct traffic control, and ensure safe movement of vehicles on parkways. As EMS Supervisor, was responsible for personnel supervision of 18-20 EMTs including 2 assistant supervisors, equipment maintenance, and hiring/staffing new and returning employees, alongside the above responsibilities.

Respond to on-campus reports of illness/injury, and treat patients as necessary. Provide walk-in healthcare and appointment scheduling for college students and faculty at Adelphi University Health Services.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, provided localized epidemic monitoring and performed routine and emergent COVID testing and assisted with vaccination clinics alongside RNs and Nurse Practitioners.

Provide emergency and non-emergency ambulance transport for sick and injured individuals as dispatched by HunterEMS Dispatch staff. Provide basic life support to patients in need of immediate medical care. Transport patients safely from facility to facility in an expedient manner, and respond to calls for service as requested. Maintained appropriate inventory of ambulance in accordance with NYS DOH Part 800 requirements.
