  • Primary responsibility for all new projects and any ongoing work needing to be done district-wide, including hardware and software work for the school district
  • In addition, the other task was to be the primary lead for the Student Information System and the team responsible for the data, work, and state uploads.
  • The beginning of this work included working on a hardware project, and then immediately, we kicked off a new RFP for a software project that needed implementation by the end of July 2017
  • This work continued to escalate from a volume of work with the others still working on building RFP documentation.
  • A Title I project that included the installation of 22 short-throw interactive projects and boards, along with 400 laptops and mobile carts, at five schools in the Tempe Union School District

  • Led 10-11 technology team members to build, maintain, and advance the infrastructure, network, operations, and applications needed to support a 12-campus school district servicing 700 staff and over 12,000 students district-wide
  • Managed and maintained projects as the Project Manager, which included construction builds, technology hardware and software deployments, and software projects, which included the work from beginning to end on the initial review of the various tools to the migration and final deployment and cutover to the solution
  • Managed the purchase, configuration, installation, and support of over 8,000 devices, including desktops, laptops, iPads, Chromebooks, IP Phones, printers, projectors, smart boards, and wireless access points
  • Selected, installed, and upgraded all phone systems, printers, smart boards, and associated hardware and software
  • Managed the team and all projects, including construction, technology, hardware, software, and process work and many projects with varying budgets
  • Migrated new server from the old pizza box standard to the blade environment in the Cisco UCS server platform and Nimble storage solution
  • Selected and installed a $800K Microwave Wireless System with an ROI of 18 months, resulting in a fully redundant 1Gb network and improved availability by 100%
  • Led the facility management staff for the Pendergast Learning Center building, ensuring the use of the facility for meetings of up to 85 to 100 per month, along with working with the renters for catering and many other items they requested
