As a seasoned A&P Mechanic, I have maintained helicopters while contracting for U.S. Army OCONUS operations, as well as for the Oil & Gas and Powerline/Fire sectors. Additionally, I have maintained UAS platforms OCONUS for the Army as a contractor. I possess extensive experience across multiple airframes and excel in adapting to unfamiliar models by leveraging my understanding of the utilization of maintenance manuals, maintenance planning, regulations, and solid electrical troubleshooting skills. My career has exposed me to diverse environments, ranging from the Arctic Circle to active War Zones. I am eager to embrace new, challenging opportunities.
I work two weeks on/off at various locations, primarily in California on fire or power line contracts with the Bell 412 and UH-1. As the sole mechanic on site, I’m responsible for maintenance planning, record keeping, inventory, and maintenance/troubleshooting without supervision.
I deployed with various branches of the military as an FSR, A&P Mechanic, and Technical Inspector for the Army-owned UAS MQ-1C and MQ-1C ER assets. I provided on-site (OCONUS) assistance with troubleshooting and resolving discrepancies that could not be resolved at the unit level. Additionally, I organized maintenance planning and performed both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to ensure safe, on-time mission readiness.
I was responsible for maintaining the U.S. Army's fleet of UH-60M, UH-60L, UH-60A, and AH-64E model aircraft. I provided flight line support and conducted both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, as well as phase maintenance. Additionally, I performed electrical troubleshooting and repairs when necessary.
I maintained and performed crew chief duties for a fleet of Sikorsky S92A models, and occasionally worked on S76C++, AW139, EC135, Bell 407, and Bell 206 as needed to maintain fleet readiness. I was selected as one of 12 mechanics to support field maintenance of three S92A's for Shell Oil's Arctic drilling project in Barrow, Alaska.
I was responsible for maintaining the Army Aviation's training fleet, including AH-64D and TH-67 (Bell 206) helicopters. During this period, I acquired extensive experience in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, phase maintenance, power-on operational checks/troubleshooting, and flight line maintenance.
