At Sysco I was responsible for doing cycle counts throughout the warehouse to make sure the products in the warehouse were up to date and accurate with the number of products in the system.
I was also responsible for processing returned products that customers either ordered to much of or just didn’t need. I’d grade each item based on quality to see if the items were eligible for resale. If they were then I’d process them back into the warehouse but if they didn’t meet the quality standards then I’d be responsible for throwing items away or having them donated. After the process was completed I’d be responsible for moving all items processed back into the warehouse for resale to their proper areas of the warehouse.
While I was in the marines corps I was a 3112 or a distribution management specialist.
I had many different roles which included customer service where I would speak with customers and help them with any problems they might be experiencing or answer any questions they may have.
I also had a role called vendor associate where I would use spreadsheets with companies information where I’d then go through a process of making sure the company’s that were moving customers items and goods were getting paid on time.
At FedEx I was responsible for unloading various trucks throughout the warehouse while maintaining safe lifting and unloading skills.
