For the past 10 years I have provided labor to numerous audio visual companies across the United States. Prior to this I had worked as a project manager.
During the pandemic I worked as a letter carrier for the USPS.
I welcomed the opportunity to return to convention and meeting services in November of 2021. Primarily I do freelance travel AV for two companies based here and in Las Vegas, but I am always looking for local opportunities here in Denver when not on the road
In the aftermath of COVID, it is my experience that sourcing reliable, professional labor is a struggle across the industry. A seasoned labor pool is no longer likely and a new group has taken their place.
I have interacted with numerous labor providers over the years and it does not escape me how challenging their task is. I am a very basically skilled technician and a hard worker. I work well with the various personalities and maintain a global view of the challenges each show presents. I believe that now is a golden chance within this field for a professional, reliable labor provider to emerge. And I have a great appreciation for how daunting the task is.
