-I manage a team of thirteen Tanker Trailer Technicians and two office team members

-Coordinate all of the warranty repairs and claims with Polar Manufacturing while advocating on the customer's behalf.

-Conduct weekly short safety meeting with my team to ensure that safety remains top of the list.

-Pick up and deliver trailers to customers when my full time driver is off.

-Communicate very well with technicians on repairs that are needed and build estimates for the customer to review.

-Hire and train new personnel

-Work closely with my out of state supervisor to ensure that the company's requirements and goals are achieved.

-Always working on keeping great relationships with customers and vendors not only for business but friendships as well

-Close out work orders throughout the month in order to keep the company cash flow consistent.

-Supervise to keep all employees productive while having a great working atmosphere.

• -Visited around 10customers a day.
• -Outside sales of truck and equipment tires and service.
• -Pick up used tires and wheels from the customers, write them up for recapping to the customers specifications.
• -Perform customer yard checks.
• -Deliver tires, and or tire/wheel combinations as ordered.
• -Perform daily inventory of the customer owned tires in the warehouse.
• -Perform daily invoicing and tire ordering.

• -Supervised employee performance, preventive maintenance, and safety.
• -Implemented an enhanced preventive maintenance program to prolong the equipment life, make safer, and to try and prevent DOT violations and OOS events.
• -I helped my corporate managers spec out all of the new equipment and get the equipment upfitted and arranged delivery to all of the western states.
• -Trained maintenance technicians to apply proper techniques and best practices and comply with safety protocols.
• -Managed the shop in N. Salt Lake, and one in Ballard Utah.
• -Conducted monthly safety meetings with both shops.
• -Worked to ensure great communication between the shop, the safety dept, and truck operations.
• -Moved equipment to outside facilities when needed for repairs.
• -I went out on most of the accident scenes to help in the coordination of cleanup and removal of damaged equipment.
• -I drove to other states to retrieve wrecked equipment when needed.
• -I put together and hauled all of the needed equipment to N. Dakota and set up a shop for that business location.
• -Worked closely with technicians during regular hours and after hours if they needed help.
• -I coordinated road calls to get equipment going and also tow trucks if needed.
• -Worked well with the DOT to ensure that regulations were being followed to lower violations and OOS.
• -Worked closely with operations so that I have a great understanding of both the clean product, and the Crude Operations. I went on a couple of crude runs to the basin so that I could really understand what they do so that I could be a better help to them when they needed it or to be able to suggest changes to the equipment to improve the operation.

• -Performed preventative maintenance
• -Diagnosed and repaired medium duty up to heavy duty trucks including braking systems, electrical systems, suspension systems, hvac systems, tires, wheel ends, clutches, windshield, interior work, pto and product pump set ups, completed engine inframe overhauls and out of frame engine replacements.
• -Complete removal and rebuilding of all types of manual transmission, and differentials.
• -Diagnosed and repaired all types of trailers from flatbeds to tanker trailers including braking systems, suspension systems, electrical systems, wheel ends, product valves, decking,
• -Fabricated parts and welded connections.

I started by tearing down and cleaning up the parts for medium to heavy duty truck transmissions and differentials. This was very good for learning all of the different drivetrain components, I also did some removal and replacement of Transmissions, Clutches, and Differentials

I was able to learn very quickly so they moved me into the rebuilding of all drivetrain components, Transmissions, Differentials, and Transfercases.

This was my first job in the trucking world.
