I also have inherited a shared team manager role and duties, as original team manager was let go from team after Indianapolis. I share this role with a mechanic on the team and we split duties as needed to keep the team organized from race to race, making sure the team and (six) riders all have what they need at any given moment. Keeping close tabs with riders on daily and weekly updates
Hauling constrtuction materials in end-dump and triple transfer train.
JWC has arguably the nicest trucks in the construction industry in northern Nevada. (389 long & short nose Peterbilts) Highly maintained with all the bells and whistles, and lots of chrome, so trucks are on a steady schedule of being maintained meticulously much before scheduled maintenances but also polished regularly and washed almost nightly.
Managed and maintained a fleet of 14 trucks, where I performed daily routine safety checks, checking all fire extinguishers, checking all brake drum and shoe thickness and light safety walk arounds
Would still be doing this had I not been approached by MRPSBR racing to drive for the team.
The beginning of 2019 I went into business for myself and started a transportation/hotshot hauling company. I hauled heavy equipment, construction materials and specialized in hauling exotic vehicles. In this time I mastered my skills I had built up until this point, in the technical and professional ways, ensuring I offered the best services possible, in turn making sure my customers belongings we handled in the upmost care and standards. I have hauled priceless million+ dollar vehicles, NHRA drag vehicles for teams like DSR (Don Schumacher Racing), show cars for SEMA and all other kinds of private hauls for high-end collectors. I have done all of this with never the smallest incident, damage or accident.
After the economy crash and riding it out driving for musicians on music tours, I went into healthcare seeking a more stable and reliable career.
I found myself in an entry level role at the local hospital as a patient transporter. With my eagerness to learn I quickly moved up the ladder in the hospital and became a cardiac heart monitor tech. I worked my way into a full-time role and eventually became the lead monitor tech. I trained all new staff for the hospital. I put together a training program for new nurses, nursing assistants and techs. I was the super user for the hospital and helped designed new systems for the entire hospital
I got my foot in the door as a professional driver, driving music tour buses for musicians around the country on music tours. This is where I got my experience for the open road and learned how to navigate cross country driving. My duties began as driving and grew to many other roles that included loading/unloading, setting up, doing inventory on merchandise, as well as maintaining the RV/Bus. Here I refined my skills on how these rigs operated and how to maintain and maintenance them. I also learn how to interact in a professional manner around those with a celebrity status and conduct myself. After the successful first tour and making contacts in the industry, it open the doors and opportunity for much more. Moving forward I did three to five tours a year.
I grew up working for the family construction business. This is where I learned so much, not only on the technical side but the professional in the ways as well. Here I learned what a work ethic was and what it was like to work hard and not only have integrity but to work hard and put my best effort in. I also learned my way around a job site and a tool box. Well before I was able to obtain a drivers license I was operating heavy equipment and driving semi trucks around job sites and the company's yard. This is where my skills started and I was able to practice and get familiar with operating efficiency and also safely, but also build a passion for heavy equipment and big trucks.
To make a little extra money and get some experience outside of the family business, I got a part time job at UPS. There with me came the hard working ethics that had been instilled in me at a young age. I started out unloading tractor trailers full of packages. I impressed my supervisors and they moved me to other areas to help out. I ended up moving to the package car unload and one night they were short a truck parker and asked if anyone could drive an 18 speed. I spoke up and ended up becoming the backup parker which gained me a ton of experience in and around tractor trucks, and just over all gave me the comfortability in operating a bigger vehicle.
My work basis comes from a long line of builders in the construction industry I grew up from a young age learning how to work hard and being on job sites around heavy equipment working with my dad, learning how to work with my hands to build and fix nearly anything At a young age much before I was able to obtain a drivers license I was operating heavy equipment and driving big trucks, but also working on them I grew up riding motorcyles and doing a little racing, so I definitely know my way around a shop and how to turn a wrench I also grew up playing many team sports and excelling all the way through through high school and into college I know what it is to be part of a team and to be all in together, and I love the saying for a motocross team "you are only as tight as your loosest spoke" Working for the family business for years prior to graduating high school and after provided me with a strong basis to do what I have the last 20 years and excel I attribute the set of skills I have today to how I grew up and this includes my work ethic I have worked with all kinds of professionals at all levels, from working hand in hand with elite level doctors on the serious matter of peoples lives to the other spectrum of fun and entertainment and I am very well aware of how to conduct myself in each setting and be the upmost professional I have the mindset to do whatever it is with all my effort and not sell myself short I preach this to my current riders and staff that I am responsible for, to help them build and grow themselves into the best versions they can possibly be That is my mindset as a person and how I conduct myself to continue to learn and grow as a man I have a thirst for knowledge and believe that keeps me at my very highest performance and standard that I have set for myself I was a sub par student in high school, I was more focused on sports and didn't fully apply myself as well as I could in my studies I didn't fail by any means, but yet I also didn't give it my all and could have done much better I look back and use this memory to guage myself and push myself daily to do my best I am currently enrolled in schoolI have this forever thirst for knowledge and to continue to feed myself and yet also better myself I thrive when I have a full plate and am very task oriented With my current role on the MRPSBR racing team as the team driver and co-team manger I am busy, yet I maintain a 40 GPA
I feel that I would be a great fit to the Factory Kawasaki Team I have a good idea of the size shoes of Big B and how high he has set the bar It shows when the Factory Kawi rig rolls down the road, when it pulls into the paddock and when it is parked and set up for all the fans to see in its full excellence I would be proud to give it my all for your team and it would be an honor to be apart of it and 'Team Green’
