Coaching Statement

My purpose as a coach is to challenge young men and women, our future leaders, to become the best version of themselves. The platform of athletics is the perfect modality to achieve excellence through a few key points. Identify your role within a team and find ways to contribute. Teamwork is key for almost every future endeavor. Work towards excellence in both the classroom and in the pool. Excellence is a lifestyle, not a part-time process. Use the skills and values learned from the sport as a differentiator in the job market and for experiences to handle difficult situations. It is with these key points in mind, that I strategically implement conversations and scenarios to challenge athletes to grow through the sport and prepare to be leaders in life.
