Responsibilities for this carrier included the transport of liquid cryogenic materials such as liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and argon. These materials were extremely time-sensitive and required extensive training for delivery and handling.
I began my employment with Brenntag as a hazardous materials truck driver. In 2011, I was offered a position in management as a dispatcher of their fleet of 32 trucks on a daily basis, maintaining DOT driver files and overseeing LTL and tank load operations. In 2013, I became operations manager of the Reading facility, responsible for dispatch, production, and warehouse operations, in addition to the implementation of procedures for ISO, DOT, and OSHA compliance.
