John Mayo

Starting work at Servpro the summer going into my Senior year of High School was exactly what I needed. I knew since I was growing up I needed to be active and working with my hands but I never had the knowledge as to what exactly that meant. The time I spent at Servpro I showed that "working with my hands" wasn't as basic as it had sounded. I learned how to cooperate with many different kinds of people and how people work better around others they want to spend time with as opposed to people that knock heads. The intensity that Servpro had showed me that while it wasn't a career I saw myself apart of. I knew had a lot to learn once I was out of High School, and that gave me the boost of confidence going into working for Orange Lawn. I wanted to show people that someone just out of High School during Covid had what it takes to keep up with professionals. I got the attention of my superiors quickly with my near perfect attendance and my ability to soak up information like a sponge. I put out 100% of what I'm capable of doing and growing as a person every single day. I love the confidence this job has given me in being able to talk to others with no issue and providing real help to people.

Throughout my years at school I was apart of the local Scouts program and am proud to have gotten the rank of Eagle that few are able to accomplish in their years of scouts.
