John McCarty

We founded McCarty Granberry Engineering in 2015 to provide quality civil engineering services with a focus on project completion. We focus primarily on land development and have been an industry leaded in the Mid-South for 10 years in residential, commercial and industrial land development. In this role, we have a wide range of interactions with the public, government review authorities, and environmental permitting.

Led design and construction on municipal water and sewer systems. Served as TDOT project engineer consultant during construction of multiple state route projects. Project Manager for contract though TDOT to assist the Locally Managed Projects Office with various projects throughout the State of Tennessee. The responsibilities included the review plans and contract review as well as designing a template for review and oversight of architectural projects to meet the requirements of FHWA; and being a TDOT Representative for oversight of Enhancement Construction Projects administered through the Locally Managed Project offices.
