Supervise one or more shifts or one or more functions in the blades shop. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Supervises and directs a group of 15 hourly employees in the Blades department at the Sikorsky Stratford location. Daily interactions with leads and employees to plan and execute monthly deliverables and meet financial commitments.

I was responsible for all chemical and machine coolant programs for all of the Sikorsky locations throughout CT.

• Prepared annual budgets with controls to prevent overages.
• Worked in matrix management environment with oversight of division level managers, operations, sales, finance, human resources, safety and compliance.
• Coordinated and dispatched emergency spill response crews for the state of CT.
• Responsible for the operational management of a 30 man workforce from 2 CT locations that provided field services and industrial services.
• Managed a Household Waste Collection facility in Pomona, NY

• Managed various field services jobs, facilitated team safety meetings
• Responsible for planning and executing jobs so they are done in a safe and timely manner as well as on budget.
• Maintained compliance with company policies, objectives and communication goals.

• Supervised various construction and demo projects on a EPA funded superfund site in Stratford, CT
• Checked equipment to determine if maintenance was required
