Repairs include hour based maintenance overhauls, and centerline repairs for large displacement "V" block and opposed piston diesel engines.

Conducted overhaul of pumps used in main reduction gear and controllable pitch propeller systems, as well as seawater cooling systems in accordance with technical documentation and NAVSEA Standard Items for FY18, and FY19. Comprehension and use of ships drawings as well as Engineering Operational Sequencing System (EOSS). Conducted repairs on Main Reduction gear systems under supervision of SWRMC code 263 and met all requirements of NAVSEA Standard Item 009-57 to include accountability logging. Qualified to review applicable documentation and approve ships force tag-out in accordance with Tag Out Users Manual (TUM) and meet requirements of Joint Fleet Maintenace Manual (JFMM).
