My Name is John N’da I am a 19-year-old 2nd year Electrical Apprentice on the path of becoming a master electrician. Before recently becoming a 2023 graduate from McKinley Technology High School in 2023, I recently completed the IECC Youth Apprenticeship program which led me on a journey towards becoming a licensed electrician. These past ten months I worked for Power Design Inc., where I mainly completed tasks relating to residential roughing on decks for buildings. I also pulled wire, wired temp lights and more. I am looking for a place to learn, grow, work and thrive. I completed my first year of schooling and passed with flying colors and I have my OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 certifications along with CPR certification. I am looking to get employed as a 2nd Year Apprentice with the anticipation of taking a step further to a successful career in this trade.
Growing up in poverty really opened my eyes to how the real world works. So many people out there who do not get the shine they deserve despite working to better the world. Electricians are needed globally and within my last years of highschool I saw a chance to choose an amazing career path to better my life and the lives of those I so dearly love.
