My time in the golf industry has not been straightforward and took some hiccups along the way. When I first started it was not much more than a way to earn a living. It did not take long for those cool early mornings and the smell of freshly mowed grass to suck me in and make me love this job. From there I wanted bigger and better things. I took a better opportunity elsewhere and that did not work out as expected so I left the industry completely. That only lasted about four months before I realized that turf management was my true passion and no other job could bring me that happiness. I came back to my original course and worked my way up to being the assistant superintendent.
