• As corporate radio became less local, I gravitated to open my production company "APE" Audio Production Experts. I always enjoyed the creative side of broadcasting.
• Present/Conceptualize/Develop production ideas and determined creative scenarios for production and delivery.
• Oversee from inception to post-production processes, Voicing, and working with contract talent Voice Over talent, editing and sound mixing, to ensure a polished final product.
• Develop schedules for production, editing, and duplication for timely delivery.

• Cultivated a network of reliable freelancers who contributed their expertise as needed across multiple projects.
• Became one of the first to send broadcast campaigns to client stations via internet using Syntrillium (Next Sun Format), Then Fraunhofers MP3 Codec surfaced, and I began giving stations access to the Codec software, would encode the commercials, Post them to my website, and stations would download broadcast quality commercials, with instant access. At that time it was a real game changer

• Supervised operations staff and kept employees compliant with company policies and procedures.
• Morning Show DJ on WMXT And WWFN (Mix 102/Fun100)
• Introduced "Voice Tracking" to the region
• Provided engineering skills to keep stations on air, maintained state of the art audio chains for quality processing and excellent broadcast quality. Configured and built on air and production studios.
• Implemented first DAW production facilities through SAW and Century 21 on East Coast in 1991. We were among first in region with digital production.
• Served as production director for AC stations WMXT (Mix 102), Oldies WWFN (Fun 100) , and Alternative Rock WBZF (The Buzz).
• Served and Music Director for WMXT, WWFN, and WBZF. Worked with Century 21's Powerplay music scheduler to generate playlists (Later to become Powergold)
• Hired talent, oversaw day to day operations. Kept lines of communication flowing between sales, traffic/billing, production and programming.

• Highly Successful Morning Drive Ratings at this top Adult Contemporary station.
• Supervised operations / on air staff and kept employees compliant with company policies and procedures.
• Conducted regular performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans to address them.
• Served as Music Director and Program Director, as well as production talent.

• 1983 Was Co Host of Morning show. We still to this day hold the record for highest Arbitron ratings in the Washington, Greenville, New Bern Market with a 12+ audience share of 26.5 ! Those numbers and market share are unheard of since our show.
• Lots of community involvement, remote broadcasts, Radio was a lot of fun in those days and we really made the most of it.
• Scheduled and supervised staff meetings to discuss new ideas and update participants on program details and milestones.
• Supervised program staff, managing and evaluating performance provide high-quality services to program participants.
• Began at that station as part time on air talent and production talent. Moved up through the ranks.

This was where It all started. Began working for Father that owned the station. 1000 watt AM Country & Western station in the Central Southwestern Piedmont of Virginia. At age 10 , Radio was all I knew. I grew up in it from toddling in as a mere child. Hanging around the station all day everyday. So Radio, Production, Broadcasting is in my genes, "in my blood". I got my 3rd class (with element 9 endorsement) at the age of 12. Went to school Then to work. Everyday. . .
