Bryant & Stratton College Program Manager (PM) performs both administrative and instructional duties. As administrators, PMs support the College mission and vision by overseeing the day-to-day management of their program areas. They are responsible for coaching and mentoring instructors who are teaching non-traditional adult learners in English, Communication & Literature, including new students. PMs are also responsible for providing guidance to subject-area instructors and for ensuring that all required record keeping and reporting are completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position is best suited to someone who prefers a fast-paced environment, adapts to change, and seeks to actively develop new skills. This is NOT a virtual position.

Responsibilities:

* Evaluate faculty credentials as part of the hiring and scheduling processes
* Perform developmental and evaluative classroom observations, facilitate post-observation discussions, and assist faculty in creation of developmental plans
* Assist the dean in ongoing faculty development and faculty development planning and delivery
* Assist the dean in developing and maintaining the Professional Teaching Portfolio to affect the quality of teaching and learning in their program area
* Participate in the curriculum monitoring and development process
* Organize and monitor subject-specific campus-wide initiative and activities
* Adhere to and uphold all established operational policies and procedures
* Reviews beginning and end-of-term paperwork for quality assurance purposes and accuracy of information
* Required to teach at minimum 1 online course per semester as assigned by the dean
* Complete any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Masters Degree in English or Communications


* Experience with non-traditional learners preferred
* Supervisory or team lead experience preferred
* Online teaching experience is required
* Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
