Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, repairing and restoring air filtration systems to peak performance. Notify and explain potential problem areas with HVAC units to customers to prevent future failures of equipment. Set up and maintain a service route with commercial customers, avoiding their peak business hours, being more convenient to them and more accessible to myself.

Job mostly consists of water main replacement for Louisville Water Company. Duties are primarily excavation and backfilling of trenches but also include pipe installation, service installations. Job also consists of commercial renovations and new construction(Wal-Marts, Love's Truck Stops, Top Golf). Which includes installation of water, drainage, sanitary, air and natural gas piping. Frequently left in charge of job site while foreman is taking care of matters at another location. Commonly in operation of backhoes, excavators, skidsteers. Also frequently moving this equipment to various locations by truck or dumptruck and trailers. Promoted to foreman position after residing foreman resigned.

Worked independently to install/inspect/troubleshoot customer propane equipment/appliances/lines. Deliver propane to customers on a delivery route system, and as needed at customer request. Receive customer payments to turn in at office at the end of shift. Worked a rotating on-call schedule to respond 24/7 to respond to emergencies and outages. Coverage area was from Scottsburg, IN to the North to Bowling Green, KY in the South and from The Illinois state line in the West to Frankfort, KY in the East. Maintain and daily inspect trucks and equipment to be used.

• Maintain CDL Class A with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
• Maintain NCCO Crane certification
• Knowledgeable of company testing pressures and policies
• Perform leak and safety inspections
• Pass all D.O.T. qualifications pertaining to propane systems
• Operate company trucks and equipment safely and responsibly

Responsible for the overseeing of all aspects of the natural gas distribution system owned and operated by LG&E. Repair, maintenance and/or replacement of above and below grade natural gas facilities. Responsible for Inspection of exterior and interior gas piping systems (high, medium, and low pressures) on commercial and residential (single and multifamily). Knowledgeable on testing pressures of natural gas piping.

• Received D.O.T. testing (hands on and written), able to present, explain technical functions of natural gas systems
• Resolve conflicts with unhappy customers about various aspects of their utility
• On the Safety Committee, worked with management to resolve safety issues and improve operations
• Prepare a weekly safety presentation and presented to 20 other employees
• Manage tool room, keep tools stocked and organized
• Nationally certified by the NCCO on articulating cranes

Responsible for replacement of customer gas services, installing new meter loops, moving meter sets to the exterior of bldgs. Inspection and testing of services and customer houselines.
