Since earning an engineering degree at the Merchant Marine Academy, it has lead to service and leadership in the maritime industry the last 16 years. Managing has has been from a broad range of on the deck plates to an office that has given a well rounded perspective. The maritime industry is so vast that learning to tackle projects where the answers are not always easily visible and the learning curve is constant.   • Work under Crowley Petroleum Service alongside Operations and Chartering in a Port Engineering role
  • Coordinate and oversee the maintenance program, repair and safe operations of all the engineering needs for two petroleum tanker ships.
  • Develop repair specifications and manage repairs of vessels that are overseen. Work with and develop maintenance cost analysis sheets and monitor the budget
  • liaison with the vessel Chief Engineer/Captain on required maintenance needs
  • Plan 3 million dollar drydock package and out of service periods as well as oversee vessels' drydock and in service visits
