  • Principal advisor to Ocean Engineering Code 127.1 relative to the applicable Integrated Logistics programs and requirements in the support of the 21CL submarines. This includes providing complete configuration, logistics support and integration of the following programs. Configuration Analysis Group (CAG), Repair Parts Analysis Group (RAG), Technical Manual Analysis Group (TAG), Planned Maintenance Analysis Group (PAG), Alteration and Installation Team (AIT).
  • Conduct configuration analysis on the ship’s mission critical equipment this includes developing and implementing analysis of life cycle support utilizing the Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) to maintain applicable Allowance Parts List (APL) Support. Utilizing the Electronic Cataloging (E-CAT) program to provide maintenance to National Stock Numbers (NSN) and part number information to provide the accuracy needed to procure or order needed parts and equipment to support availabilities and Coordinated Allowance Parts Lists (COSAL) used by the 21CL platforms.
  • Establish and maintain contact with various activities such as NAVSEA, NAVSUP, TYCOM, and CDM to render assistance and secure advice for new projects, programs and discussion of logistics and supply support problems.
  • Conducts briefings to stakeholders on the scope of the Integrated Logistics program during Logistics Product Review (LPR) and at various meetings conducted at Squadron or in at inter code meetings affecting the logistics program.
  • Used analysis tools to maintain Load List accuracy. This required the use of the Priority Material Office (PMO) prime analysis tool to identify items that are in short supply and need a vendor to be identified.

  • Principal advisor to ships force relative to the applicable Integrated Logistics Overhaul (ILO) programs and requirements. This includes providing complete configuration, logistics support and integration of the following programs. Configuration Analysis Group (CAG), Repair Parts Analysis Group (RAG), Technical Manual Analysis Group (TAG), Planned Maintenance Analysis Group (PAG), Alteration and Installation Team (AIT). Serve as advisor to Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) team which has an oversight of four submarines and three surface ships in ILO working with the Maintenance Support Analysis Team (MSAT) Personnel.
  • Conduct configuration analysis on the ship’s mission critical equipment, RADIAC, Night Vision Equipment, Small Arms, and Test, Measuring and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).
  • Direct the validation of on-board equipment. Plan and analyze data required for equipment validation. Manages the revision and update of databases. Creates work files in Configuration Data Management Database (CDMD-OA). Process work files in accordance with the findings during validation. Discrepancies between ship’s database and other sources of configuration are verified to ensure an accurate End of Availability (EOA) configuration baseline is established and post overhaul package includes the required support. Coordinate effectively with the ship’s 3M Coordinator to ensure Automated Shore Interface (ASI) is processed in a timely manner.
  • Verifies Maintenance Index Pages (MIP) with the ship’s existing configuration and all changes to the configuration are reported by accomplishing activities. Analyze Maintenance Requirement Card (MRC) using a local database program to ensure repair parts, special tools and test equipment are identified for proper PMS (Preventative Maintenance Support). Compares List of Effective Pages (LOEP) against AIT updates. Deficiencies are provided to the ship’s 3MC coordinator for review. Submit PMS Feedback reports for MIP that is not in the LEOP for newly installed equipment.
  • Effectively conducts Technical Manual (TM) analysis. Compare the ship’s Configuration File (GENTIP) to TDMIS (Technical Data Maintenance Information System) to identify the appropriate manuals are onboard or requisitioned. Hardcopy manuals are reviewed for applicability, condition, status of authorized revision or changes, and update them as required. Assist the ship in preparing Technical Manual Deficiency Reports (TMDR). Coordinates with various stakeholders in resolving deficiencies identified during the analysis. Provides follow-up actions to ensure that Advanced Change Notices (ACN) and TM changes are provided to fleet units that require corrective action.
  • Repair parts analysis expert. Ensures parts identified in support of End Of Availability (EOA) configuration are either on-hand or on-order and the inventory accuracy during backload will meet or exceed the inventory accuracy level required by the Type Commander (TYCOM). Direct and review Location Audit Program (LAP), wall-to-wall inventory, and Master Stock Status List (MSSL) to ensure all applicable codes are valid and managed properly. Audit areas that affect inventory accuracy including requisition processing, receipt processing and ship’s inventory programs. Assist the ship in offload of repair parts and excess materials that do not have onboard application.
  • Conduct Maintenance Assistance Module (MAM) analysis and XMAM review. Assist the ship in conducting a 100% MAMs inventory, compares MAMs to shipboard configuration, updates MAMs locations in CDMD-OA (Configuration Data Managers Database Open Architecture) and Organizational Maintenance Management System Next Generation) via work files submitted to the CDM. Provide final XMAM review to ship to include MAM shortages and excesses.
  • As the Alteration Installation Team (AIT), build and maintain a Baseline of Availability (BOA) data in NDE. Coordinate with RMMCO (Regional and Maintenance and Modernization Coordination Office) and the accomplishing activity in the provisioning of On-Board Repair Parts (OBRP), MAMs, TM, PMS, Ships Drawings and APL documentations for various alterations on board ships during CNO (Chief of Naval Operations) availabilities. Prepare and submit End of Availability (EOA) ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) verification letter stating the summary of ILS Elements and the level of completion of alterations and ILO analysis result to the ship’s Program Executive Officer.
  • Conducts Quality Assurance (QA) on parts and equipment undergoing analysis. Review, develop, and document recommendations directed at improved supply support to complex configuration and logistics support problems in line with TYCOM policies and procedures.
