ARRT-registered radiologic technologist with 20 years experience performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, specializing in orthopedic radiography for a high volume orthopedic practice for over 15 years. Proficient in MRI procedures for over 5 years on two platforms as well as several different health record systems. Perform radiologic procedures ordered by physicians both in MRI and X-Ray with the ability to travel to other offices as needed.

Interview/ Explain exam to be performed and answer all questions patient and/or caregiver may have
Initiated Saturday MRI services in Columbia St office including front desk responsibilites
Coordinate with nursing staff regarding administration of contrast media if prescribed
Completed various tasks to ensure the PACS system runs optimally at all times
Train new radiographers in the use of FUJI CR X-Ray systems and Carestream DRX systems
Train new physicians and physician assistants in the use of the PACS system
Responsible for reporting any equipment repair needs to the service company and follow-up to ensure completion
Perform QC and repeat analysis on all FUJI CR X-Ray systems and Carestream DRX systems
Perform quarterly monitor checks on all physician monitors to ensure compliance with New York State regulations
Complete diagnostic radiographic procedures in the radiology department of a high volume orthopedic practice
Interpret data and provide recommendations to physicians if additional imaging is needed
