  • Developed school security initiative including Civilian Response to Active Shooter training to school staff and school security assessment program. Conducted assessments at over 100 school buildings throughout Suffolk County. Assisted with developing Threat Assessment Programs.
  • Spearheaded process for conducting security assessments at places of worship and businesses.
  • Authored security plans and managed security in at Covid PPE and Covid vaccination distribution points throughout Suffolk County.

  • Sheriff's Office Gang Resistance & Education Training team (GREAT). Managed program of Deputy Sheriffs & Correction Officers who teach gang resistance program in schools. We have brought the program to & taught over 100,00 young students in Suffolk County.
  • Sandy Hook Promise: Start With Hello - Start With Hello educates students on how to be more socially inclusive to prevent feelings of social isolation, feelings of being left out or unnoticed, further preventing the risk of school violence.
  • Sandy Hook Promise: Say Something - Geared for students grades 6-12, is an education and awareness program that teaches students the recognizable signs and signals of a potential threat, especially over social media and teaches them how to Say Something to a trusted adult. The program has been provided to over 25,000 students in Suffolk County.
