As a Machinist at West I've done a variety of tool management maintenance. I continually check the condition of molds and dies. As well as grinding dies to maintain acceptable trim dimensions as well as programming chamfer programs in a variety of different CNC mills.

• Used CNC and manual equipment to perform both initial and final machining.
• Manually set up machinery, lathes, and grinders.
• Studied daily work instruction, sketches, drawings, blueprints, and manuals to determine dimensions and tolerances accurately.

• Die / Mold setting installation and removal of large compression/injection molds as well as ribbon trim dies.
• Line clearing for different product varieties I.E. formula changes, customer order changes.

• Read specifications, blueprints and work orders to determine setups, temperatures and time settings required to mold, form or cast rubber materials as well as to plan production sequences.

• Sorted mail according to order of address appearance for easy access in field.
• Delivered mail and packages to customers on prescribed route while processing check submissions, money orders and stamp purchases in field.
• Directly interacted with customers to deliver mail, packages and ordered goods.
• Inspected truck equipment and supplies and reported problems and safety hazards to supervisors following each shift.
