The cornerstone of my pastoral ministry has been catechesis. I lead by teaching. I have stayed current on Greek and Hebrew grammar and vocabulary in order to teach from the original languages of the Bible.
As the son of a Lutheran educator Lutheran education has always been important to me. I considere it a privilege to have served as mentor for CUEnet.
I am a hard worker with determination to achieve goals while at the same time a team player who can submit to community standards.
I mentored students seeking to colloquize onto the the roster of The Lutheran ChurchMissouri Synod as Lutheran school teachers. My duty was to make sure that they understood the material that they received through online presentations. This was done by reviewing email submissions and either approving their submissions or asking them to resubmit with suggestions for improvements.
I have mentored the following classes: Old Testament, New Testament, History of Theology, and Christian Doctrine.
I have also served as circuit visitor in both the Kansas and Central Illinois Districts.
I have served a president of a local ministerial association accomplishing certain community goals through that organization.
