• School Building/Campus Safety Assessments focusing on related hareware, technology and equipment.
• Creating and training inhouse Crisis Response Teams.
• Staff Training on Emergency Preparedness and Response Protocols. (Lock Down, Evacuation)
• Coprehensive Evacuations Plans, Preparing for Fire Department Inspections.
• Crowd control and event planning.
• Coordination/relationship building with First Responders and Emergency Services.
• CRA Child Requiring Assistance Court Process

• Direct, plan, develop, recommend, implement, research and evaluate policies, procedures and programs by utilizing proven and identified best practices for safety and security in schools and school district facilities.
• Act as liaison to the following Departments, Police, Fire, Office of the District Attorney, Juvenile and Adult Probation, Children/Family Services, Cambridge Health Alliance, and The Office of the Clerk Magistrate.
• Oversee Readiness and Emergency Management Program (REMS) for schools.
• Review all Incident Reports, Suspension Notices, Accident Reports, initiate follow up actions, secure all Evidence, provide administration with procedural support, attend and present at Expulsion Hearings, address Concerns and complaints, draft Investigative Reports.
• Represent Cambridge Public Schools District in court for Child Requiring Assistance Hearings, School Zone Drug Cases and Clerk Magistrate Hearings.
• Oversee Individualized Medical Emergency Response Plans for each school.
• Manage, monitor and advise on all of the operational security systems defined as technical, surveillance Cameras, electronic mapping, access cards, fire alarms, alarm systems, AI phones, radios, and AEDs.
• Direct, schedule and coordinate Safety Specialists evaluations, assignments, meetings, and training activities to Keep them informed and to improve overall safety and security operations.
