Work History
GL - Quality - 200/220/815/825 Body Weld Pilot
Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana
Princeton, IN
09.2021 - Current
Proactively researched cost saving initiatives while laterally improving safety, quality, and productivity. (Vuforia, Virtual Destruct, Crafted Technologies)
Implemented "Continuous Improvement" during each phase of Body Weld Pilot trial vehicle builds. By creating a standard 60 point inspection manual of standard defects that could be found during a routine quality check. This ensures all inspecting members are performing the same checks without question while increasing efficiency. An electronic tracking system was also created in TEAMS that would allow all results to be tracked and viewed in real time
Broadened TM & TL involvement in the early phases of project development by introducing them to Digital Buy Offs / C3 & Terrace investigations, Weld Instruction Sheet Procurement from TMNA so early work could begin on creating all the necessary quality documents needed for the production floor.
Created strategic planning documents for Body Inspection Standards between Weld & QE. This would ensure a timely agreement of quality standards needed to ensure overall quality of the product by scheduling weekly meetings via TEAMS to go over each section. Unclear items from previous BIS documents were also strengthened to eliminate potential misinterpretation.
