It is my objective to find a company to grow with, learn from, and believe in. I would like to apply the skills I have to interesting jobs in a productive environment. It is my intent to find a company to be loyal to and eventually retire from.
I was hired to build 2 tilt up buildings in Hayward CA. My responsibilities were to keep the Subs on track per contract schedule. Create in depth 3 week look ahead schedules on Microsoft excel. Provide safety supervision on the site. Review contract documents. Coordinate inspections with the CIty and special inspectors.
I was able to work as a union carpenter during Covid. I was able to install Unistrut systems and T-bar ceilings at the Intell facility in Santa Clara.
Managed 4 projects. That included overseeing Safety, manpower, inspections, and scheduling.
I worked as a Quality control inspector, creating many thorough punch list on the Procore program. I also ran 2 projects as an Assistant Superintendent. Emphasis on advanced blueprint reading and 3 week look ahead schedules.
As a Carpenter apprentice, I started to learn skills in finish carpentry and implement them in the field. This included safety and code work. It was also where I learned to work as part of a team
Chinese Christian Bible School, Oakland CA, XL construction, 2015
The project was the from the slab to finish construction. It required all new MEPs, and new interior finishes, such as wall, sinks, and Acoustical ceiling.
Adobe, San Jose CA, BCCI 2016
This job was all Tenant Improvement. I performed the Quality Control and produced several thorough punch lists. I also coordinated work with the Subcontractors to achieve the design as drawn. This was on multiple floors with high end paint and finishes.
2150 Webster street Oakland CA Plant Construction 2017-2018
10 floors of core and shell building renovation. Included demolition of existing elevators, stairs, existing glazing around entire building, abatement of entire facade, and existing elevator penthouse. Construction included, 5 brand new elevators, structural upgrade of each floor (to accept new elevators). New staircase from the ground floor to the roof level. New glazing around the whole building and each floor. New roof and parapets. New elevator penthouse. New paint around the exterior facade. 2 new restrooms on the first floor. It was my job to work with all the trades, from demo to finish, in order to achieve the desired schedule. Also to provide constant onsite safety observation.
1 Maritime Plaza, San Francisco CA 2018-2019
2 floors of interior renovation. Demolition of existing conference rooms, break rooms, and offices. Construction of all new offices, break rooms, and feature wall. Included all paint, carpet, acoustical ceiling, millwork, stone flooring and wood ceilings. I was the Superintendent on that project, managing, manpower, budget, RFI's, and scheduling.
UCSF, San Francisco CA 2019-2020
Complete seismic upgrade of existing building and new interior on each level. My job was to run/coordinate all the inspections for the entire project, from MEP's, structural concrete/steel, to interior finishes. I also ran all the interior finish subs: floors, ceilings, walls, paint etc.
