  • After taking over a regionally-recognized golf course as clubhouse manager in 2021, a promotion to Golf Course General Manager followed in 2022. Duties include overseeing and managing all aspects of the facility.
  • Painted Woods Golf Course has seen wild success over the first three seasons in all categories
  • Golf rounds, memberships, food and beverage have spiked to as high as 35% year over year, and new revenue streams such as additional tournaments, banquet hosting - and soon to be wedding venue - have all seen a increases of 20% to 35% year-over-year since 2021.
  • The primary role as General Manager was to create a vision for where the course is headed and then implement that vision using all the tools at our disposal, including staff, facilities, advertising, volunteers, members and anything that will aid in getting to the final outcome
  • Specific duties include staffing & scheduling, budgeting and cost management, personnel decisions, food & beverage acquisition, ordering and cost analysis, golf course set up, cart/cart lease management, all while still taking shifts in the clubhouse as both cashier and bartender.
  • Managed budget implementations, employee reviews, training, schedules, and contract negotiations.
