I have over 20 years of culinary work experience. In that experience I always worked with a sense of urgency and determination to get the work done. During my culinary career I decided to step away and be a stay at home father while my wife perused her dental career. During the ten years of being a stay at home dad I volunteered with Colorado Mountain Bike Association and West Virginia Mountain Bike Association. Both organizations focus on building sustainable mountain bike trails with public grant money. After that experience I went on to work full time building mountain bike trails in Colorado and West Virginia. While working in WV I decided to follow a life long passion of truck driving and went to CDL training at SAGE Truck Driving Academy in Lebanon, PA. Now I’m hoping to get my hands on training so I can pursue this life long dream.
Help build and maintain existing trails while using heavy equipment (excavator’s, skid steers and soil conditioners) and hand tools. Trails would range from large flow trails, bike park and hand built single track trails. All being built in a sustainable manner.
The most humbling job I’ve ever done. I learned a lot from my children. A job that I will always cherish forever. During this time I did part- time landscaping and volunteer work for the Colorado Mountain Bike Association. Which led to future my employment with my current employer Adventure Trail Systems.
