John Troy

A lighting designer and technician since sophomore year at Upper Darby High School, John continues to pursue a higher education and better grasp of lighting technologies at Temple University. While focusing on there studies is a commitment, this has not stopped John from pursuing professional work doing lighting technician over hire at local theatres and companies, as well as returning to there alma mater as a designer and design mentor. John works as a work-study In Temple Theatres lighting department where they get to work with fellow classmates, graduate students, and veterans of the field of lighting design and tech. John has been working at Upper Darby Summer Stage since high school and has used the skills they learned there in the real world.
