Operate a variety of valves under various conditions. Knowledgeable in gate books, water service maps and pipe location reports. Repair various valves as needed, repair & replace fire hydrants, assist in chlorination of pipeline installation. Assist with emergency main shut-offs and identify possible problems with regard to regulation and pump stations and water storage facilities

Worked on special projects crew and before this was on installation of small services. Also on leak crew working main breaks, installation of new services, replace old services and hands on knowledge of Sedaru Program. Replaced and repaired water mains, fire hydrants, meters and services

Lead and supervise staff and perform duties relating the the City's water distribution system. Supervise staff in the installation and maintenance of water services, mains, valves and related facilities. Repair altitude valves for pump and regulating stations. Overhaul split-case pumps. Repaired and replaced CRD's and related tubing. Participate in on-call program.

Operates and performs installation, routine preventative maintenance and repair of water systems, equipment and facilities, Investigate and perform repairs related to spills or pump failures. Utilize SCADA to control the level of water in the reservoir by reducing or increasing water production from wells. Operate valves and other controls to direct chemicals into water treatment systems. Regulates and controls the flow of water from wells and through treatment system. Reads and interprets meters and charts, maintains related records. Draws samples & perform routine tests per procedures. Monitor chlorine usage and residuals and maintain related records. Operate and maintain EPA wells and vessels and maintain records.
